Requirements

  1. A computer (laptop/desktop) with a USB Type-C connector
  2. Compatible video conferencing software installed on your computer (Zoom, Teams, etc.)

Step-by-Step Guide:

Connecting Your Computer

  1. Connect via USB:
    • Use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to connect your laptop to the Rally Bar.
  2. Audio and Video Configuration:
    • Your computer will detect the Rally Bar as a “USB camera, microphone, and speaker system”.
    • Depending on your operating system:
      • Windows: Go to “Settings > System > Sound & Video”.
      • macOS: Go to “System Preferences > Sound & Video”.
    • Set the Rally Bar as the default audio output, microphone, and camera.

Launching Your Video Conferencing Application

  1. Open the “Video Conferencing Software” of your choice (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Google Meet, etc.) on your computer.
  2. Select the Rally Bar as the Audio/Video Source:
    • In your video conferencing application’s settings:
      • Set the “Logitech Rally Bar” as the default camera.
      • Set the “Logitech Rally Bar” as the default microphone.
      • Set the “Logitech Rally Bar” as the default speaker.

This ensures that all video and audio are routed through the Rally Bar.

Start a Meeting

  1. Join or Start a Video Call:
    • Start a new meeting or join an existing one using your preferred video conferencing application.
  2. Camera and Audio Control:
    • The Rally Bar will automatically capture video from the meeting room.
    • Its “AI Viewfinder” can auto-frame participants.
    • Use the remote control to adjust camera angles, zoom, and focus.
  3. Sharing Content:
    • To share content from your computer during the meeting, use the screen-sharing feature in your video conferencing application.
    • Your shared screen will be displayed on the connected display/TV.

Controlling the Rally Bar During the Meeting

  • Camera Settings: Use the Logitech remote control to adjust the camera view.
  • Mute/Unmute: You can mute or unmute the Rally Bar’s microphone using the remote.
  • Volume Control: Adjust the volume using the remote.

Ending the Meeting

  1. Leave the Meeting: When the meeting is over, leave the call via your video conferencing software on your computer.
  2. Disconnect:
    • Unplug the USB cable from your computer if you want to disconnect.
    • The Rally Bar will remain powered and ready for the next use.

Troubleshooting Tips

– “No Audio/Video”: If audio or video isn’t working, ensure the Rally Bar is properly selected as the camera, microphone, and speaker in both the system settings and your conferencing software.

– “Camera Not Detected”: Unplug and reconnect the USB cable or try a different port on your computer.

– “Lagging Video or Audio”: Ensure the USB connection is secure and that your computer has the necessary resources (close other heavy applications if necessary).
