Share from a Laptop (No App)
Use your web browser
Make sure your laptop is on the same Wi-Fi network shown on the TV.
Open Chrome (or Edge on Windows) and go to share.mersive.com.
Type the address shown on the TV and connect.
If asked, type the 4-digit key from the TV. Type your name and click Share.
Pick what to share: a browser tab, a window, or your entire screen.
Playing a video with sound? Turn on Share audio before you start, and mute your laptop speakers so you don't get an echo. On a Mac, only sound from a browser tab can be shared.
To stop: click Disconnect, or Stop sharing at the bottom of your screen.
Share with the Solstice App
The smoothest way on a laptop
Get the free Mersive Solstice app at mersive.com/download. (On a work laptop you may need IT to install it.)
Open the app and click this room's name.
If asked, type the 4-digit key from the TV.
Click Desktop to share everything, or App Window to share just one program (keeps your email private).
To stop, click Stop Sharing at the top. To leave, click Disconnect.

Some Android phones can share the same way. Swipe down from the top and pick Smart View or Wireless Projection (the name differs by phone). If your phone has neither, it can't share in this room.
More Than One Person Sharing
Side by side
Several people can share at the same time. Each person's screen shows up side by side on the TV.
In the Solstice app, the Layout tab lets anyone move, hide or make a screen full size.
Share with a Cable
If wireless isn't working
The Solstice box has an HDMI input on the front. If there's an HDMI cable connected to it, plug it into your laptop and your screen shows up.
Running a Teams Meeting
Use your own laptop
This room is set up for presenting. It doesn't have a room camera or a Teams Room system.
Start or join the Teams meeting on your own laptop as usual.
Share your laptop to the TV with any of the ways above, so the room sees the meeting.
People online hear your laptop's microphone, not the room's wireless mic.
If there is echo, turn your laptop speakers down or use headphones.
Wearing the Wireless Mic
Clip on, switch on, talk
Clip the belt pack to your belt or pocket.
Clip the small mic to your shirt, centered on your chest, about a hand's width below your collar (3 to 6 inches below the neckline).
Turn on the belt pack with its power switch or button (on some models, hold the button for a few seconds). A green light means you're live.
Talk normally. Your voice comes out of the ceiling speakers.
When you're done, switch it off and put it back on its charger.
Do
Keep the mic outside your clothes.
Switch it off for private conversations.
Don't
Don't touch or tap the mic while talking.
Don't clip it up by your chin. You'll sound muffled.
Battery and Charging
What the lights mean
- Green light on the belt pack · on and ready.
- Red light on the belt pack · not ready. The battery is low, or on some models the mic is muted. Charge it, or press its mute button.
- Put it on the charger when you're done so it's ready for the next person.
Charger lights vary by model. On Shure chargers, a flashing red light usually means charging and solid green means fully charged.
Stop a Squeal (Feedback)
Quick fix
Step away from the ceiling speaker you're standing under.
Turn the room volume down a little on the wall control.
Make sure the mic is on your chest, not near the speakers.
The Wall Volume Control
Louder, quieter, mute
The control on the wall sets the room volume.
- Turn it up or down to change the volume.
- If it has a mute button, press it to silence the room. Press it again to bring the sound back.
- If nobody can hear anything, check that the room isn't muted.
