Video Wall — Sources, Routing & Layout (Conductor)

What you see

Buttons on top from left to right:

  • Video Sources – toggles the pop up to change video source selection. Used when a more custom view of sources is needed.  Not always necessary.
  • Active Speaker
  • Reset Routes to Default

Layout Section:

Used to select the layout of the video wall itself.  In the buttons of the layouts there is the name of the default source (if video sources pop up wasn’t used to change them) and what physical input on the wall it is, if desired to change it via Video Sources. Press the desired layout and wait for the selection to be made.

 

Route video to the wall

Goal: place a source into one or more windows.

  1. Tap a source in the left column.

  2. Tap one or more Userful Input buttons (1–8) to send that source to those windows.
    → The selected source appears in every window you chose.

Pick the room audio

Choose Audio Selection to set which source is heard through the speakers.

Volume

Use Volume to raise, lower, or mute audio.

Active Speaker (camera follow)

Toggle Active Speaker to make the camera view follow the current speaker. Green = ON.

Reset routes to default

Restores the system’s default routing:

  • 1: Room PC 2: PlayStation 3: ClickShare 4: Apple TV

  • 5: HDMI1 6: HDMI2 7: Cisco 8: HDMI Table

  • Audio: Cisco

Apple TV controls (pop-up)

  • Tap Controls (Apple logo) to open the Apple TV control pop-up.

  • AppleTV 1 / AppleTV 2: choose which Apple TV to control.

  • Direction Pad: navigate menus.

  • Menu/Back: toggle the menu.

  • Play/Pause: pause or play content.

Userful server — change wall layouts

 

    • Navigate to Decisions.

    • Use the bottom-left layout presets tab (circled in red in the reference) to select a video wall layout; a visual preview appears when selected.

    •  

Reset routes to default

  • Restores the system’s default routing:
